DREAMLAND SPREADS IT'S MAGIC AT CHRISTMAS

Clare Mc Cartan from Omagh, Co. Tyrone contacted Shay to ask if her life-long dream for her daughter Katrina who suffers from multiple disorders could come to Dreamland. It was always Katrina’s dream to one day be able to go down a slide, but because of her disability it seemed an impossible dream to fulfil until she heard about the magic slide in Dreamland. So Shay invited them to visit Limerick and he would close the doors of Dreamland just for Katrina to explore this magical fun centre and to have her fondest dream come true. Here is Clare’s letter of thanks to Shay and the Dream Team.

Shay,
“Thank you for a wonderful visit to Dreamland Limerick & for looking after us as well as making Katrina’s dream come true. Imagine our wee doll had to wait all these years to go down a slide because of a total lack of inclusive play facilities. It took Share A Dream to make this miracle happen and bring so much happiness into our lives. We both loved it.
Dreamland is truly a magical place where as you say Shay dreams come true for all children. From the bottom of our hearts and on behalf of all thousands of special children all over Ireland who have been touched by the magic of the Share A Dream Foundation, our deepest gratitude. It is a memory we will never forget and a miracle they said could never be done. Katrina came down a slide.”

Please everyone support Share a Dream to ensure they can continue bringing magic into the lives of thousands of children like Katrina.

Miracle Boy visits Dreamland

2 year old Neil Shanahan, Limerick, the miracle boy who had a 6th storey fall from a hotel balcony joined us in Dreamland on Saturday with his family for his dream come true. We were delighted to be able to give Neil a Christmas dream come true in our centre as we have done for hundreds of kids. According to his mum Martina "Dreamland is absolutely magic and a wonderful way to celebrate Neil being with us."
