A very special dream came true for 7yr old Emma from Ballylinan, Co. Laois. Emma has a very complicated medical history and suffers with many medical problems. Despite all that Emma has to deal with she is a very brave young girl and faces each day with sheer determination and never complains.
Emma is a real girlie girl all pink, purple, handbags and makeup etc. Emma had no room of her own as such even though her mum built one last year but all it had was Princess Bedroom a wooden floor. So when Emma’s mum wrote to the Share a dream Foundation to make her dream come true of a pink "girlie bedroom" somewhere she can escape away from all the reminders in her home of her condition they immediately got to work.
Thus, with the help of some fantastic people Emma’s bedroom was transformed on Friday the 5th of April while Emma stayed at her friend’s house. The design team headed up by Interior Design extraordinaire Louise Higgins began work at 8am and then at 6pm Emma returned home to a special party and to see her surprise – her Dream Bedroom. Emma’s face along with her mum’s Regina was one of total shock and they couldn’t believe the transformation.
